What You'll Do:
As a part-time ABA Behavior Technician at Learning ARTS, you will play a vital role in making a positive impact on the lives of children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and their families.
You will work closely with a team of dedicated professionals to implement Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy interventions designed to help individuals develop essential life skills and reduce challenging behaviors.
A Typical Day in the Life of an ABA Behavior Technician at Learning ARTS:
Travel to the clinic or the client's home, depending on the scheduled therapy session.
Implement ABA therapy techniques and interventions as outlined in the behavior intervention plan.
Conduct one-on-one therapy sessions, focusing on skill development, behavior management, and social interactions.
Set up therapy materials and create a structured and engaging environment for the client.
Attend team meetings to review client progress and discuss individualized treatment plans.
Use our data collection tools to track and measure the client's progress and behavior patterns.
Collaborate with the supervising BCBA to adjust treatment strategies as needed.
Provide support and guidance to the client's family members, offering strategies for consistent reinforcement and generalization of skills.
Document session notes and complete required paperwork in a timely manner.
Clean up therapy materials and ensure the therapy environment is organized and ready for the next session.
Please Note:
Some therapy sessions may take place at the clinic, while others will be conducted in the client's home.
The typical working hours for this part-time position are weekdays from 3 to 8 PM, accommodating the availability of clients and their families.

Qualifications:
Ability to actively play with kids for 20 minutes at a time.
Available to work at least 15 hours per week (afternoons and evenings).
Good interpersonal and teaching skills.
Excellent computer and writing skills.
High School diploma or GED.
Reliable Transportation.
